A sterling silver and deep blue guilloche enamel Royal Navy cigarette case .

Rare item ,Crafted in Birmingham 1940 by the silversmith John William Barret.

Has the Royal Navy insignia on a deep blue guilloche enamel with a very Deco machine turned stepped border on the front of the case and a machine turned back.

The interior is gilded with clear hall marks and an inscription - "Jessie from John"

The enamel has no chips or cracks but does have some surface scratching,
