Large Antique Fine Sterling silver 950 grade French Pitcher and Bowl

A very fine Quality French pitcher and bowl.

Made from Britannia 950 grade sterling silver ,the very best grade usually reserved for jewellery and very precious items.

The pitcher and bowl have fine sharp detailed machine engraving and hand chased detailing featuring floral framed cartouches (all unengraved and blank).

 

Dated c1870 this is an exquisite example of luxurious opulence ,in collectors/museum condition.

The jug    - 31.2cm tall 12cm at the base.

The bowl - 37.3cm in diameter and 10.7cm tall.
