A pair of walrus paperweights

A rare pair of walrus tusk paperweights.

Made in Sheffield by the silver smith Joseph Rogers & sons these paperweights have a silver plated base with the makers marks clearly visible on the rim underside.

Dated  c.1870

These stand 27cm tall and are 12.5cm at the base .

The are in remarkably great condition.
